Random things...

Did you blink and miss Summer. I did. Oh well, at least its football season again. If I am not outside playing with Hadley and Simon or getting the house ready for Winter, I will probably be at the TV, enjoying my favorite sport. On the topic of football... I recently met a local high school English teacher, who upon leaning that I grew up in Ohio's Steel Valley (famous for its high school football), introduced me to his "favorite sports poem" -- James Wright's "Autumn Begins in Martins Ferry, Ohio." This short work made me stop and think about the "glory days" and the place that I grew up.  I want to share it with you too -- Please let me know what you think.
