Custom is the word at Maine Home+Design Show

This weekend the Maine Home+Design Midcoast Show brings together more than 100 Maine architects, custom builders, landscape and interior designers, kitchen suppliers, artists, and craftsmen. This two-day show will inspire all visitors who dream of future home renovations.

Exhibitors like Camden-based Phi Home Designs, known for its custom furniture-making, kitchens and custom built homes, will have an outdoor display and plans to unveil its mobile workshop as well as new interior design services. Since green is the new black, Solaris LLC will be present to teach you how to harness the sun to save money on heating, and discuss the new federal tax credit for those going solar. If your home is up to date, but your landscaping not-so-much, then consider visiting the J.C. Stone company known for its quality selection of Maine stone, or get real crazy with Duvall Dynamic Spaces of Rockland. Duvall is a leader in the design, fabrication and installation of unique curvilinear tensioned fabric structures for architectural, exhibit and retail applications. These structures take on a sculptural element and can be used in a variety of settings.

The Maine Home+Design Midcoast Show, at the Point Lookout Resort in Northport, will be open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday, May 30 and from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday, May 31. Admission to the Show is $7 per person; children under 12 are free. Tickets are available at the door.
